Cici Zheng

Graduated from the University of British Columbia (UBC) with a dual degree—a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Education

Having grown up in the BC education system myself, from elementary school all the way through, I’ve always felt a strong connection to learning. Since high school, I’ve also been involved in education-related work—like tutoring and leading youth programs after school. These experiences sparked a real passion in me to become an educator who helps students explore their creativity, build critical thinking skills, and discover their own inner motivation to learn.

I'm truly excited to come to China and experience the differences in the education environment here. I’m especially interested in how students from different cultural backgrounds adapt to the BC curriculum, and how they find their own paths, follow their passions, and grow in ways that are fulfilling and successful for them personally.
